Alaska Village Missions

Alaska Village Missions has several branches of ministry: the Alaska Bible Institute, Village Ministry, and Translating Christian Radio.

AVM began in 1965, and has a legacy of planting churches off of the road system, encouraging missionaries living in the bush, training leaders through ABI, and transmitting the Gospel via radio across vast sections of Alaska. 

After four decades of service there is still so much more to be accomplished in the villages of Alaska.  Maybe God has a role for you to fulfill in bringing the Good News to this cold and often forgotten portion of the globe.
